Description: Historic Wallingford is a non-profit organization whose mission is to foster an awareness of and appreciation for Wallingford’s history and architecture. The Wallingford neighborhood exhibits historic architecture and housing styles of the early 1900s. I chose to illustrate two of the most popular historic housing styles of the time, Craftsman and Colonial Revival. Houses are portrayed in beautiful scenery of blue sky, green trees and colorful flowers–depicting Seattle’s picturesque nature in summer. Artwork was created to be seamless around the box with all panels portraying dynamic compositions.
